At Huricon Marsh, Crex Meadows and the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge visitors can enjoy birdwatching, hiking and wildlife observation. In Milwaukee, you will find a cultural centre famed for its woderful art collections, housed in the newly refurbished Milwaukee Art Museum with its stunning addition designed by Santiago Calatrava. Art historians and architecture buffs may take the opportunity to visit Frank Lloyd Wright's former home and studio at Taliesin, near Spring Green. FLW is widely recognised as one of America's greatest architects, and this ongoing evolving project was constantly modified until he dies in 1959, but now remains as a testament to his genius. Other cultural highlights for the visitor are based in Madison, where the performing arts scene is strong and varied: catch a performance by the Madison Symphony Orchestra, the Madison Repertory Theater Company of the Madison Ballet. The Overture Center for the Arts is a newly developed performance venue showcasing a huge variety of their productions.
